SBN Team Walks to End Alzheimer’s

Fall brings SBN community projects each year into the holidays. In 2016, our “Professionals Engaged to Grow” Team raised over $1,100 towards the $45,630 raised in Sedona.  We will also volunteer for the Giving Angels as well as donations to teachers for classroom projects they normally pay out-of-pocket.

Professional Development & Community Spirit

Melissa Vandarian and Lori Harakal present 10 minute topics each week to grow our businesses. Past topics have included Branding Your Small Business, Developing Your Elevator Speech, Social Media 101, Social Media Strategies, and Help from SCORE. Gary Reeves has also made presentations, sharing what he as learned at workshops and seminars he attends. It’s a great way to stay on the cutting edge of business. Our ongoing community program helps the Verde Valley Food Bank year-round with non-perishable food. Kathy Cox expedites the collection every two months by swapping out full bags for empty ones to fill. This program is allowing the VVFB to serve more people with regular collections all year long.
